Experience the Magic of the Heath String Quartet
It’s always a joy to welcome the much-loved Heath String Quartet, a treasured part of our Festival tradition. Their performances have become a highlight of the Wooburn Festival year after year, captivating audiences with their sublime musicality, vibrant energy and deep connection to the repertoire.
This year we welcome the Quartet with a slightly different line-up. Following the departure of violist Gary Pomeroy, the Heath Quartet will be joined at Wooburn by distinguished guest violist Milena Simović.
Equally at home on the violin and viola, Milena has an international career as a soloist and chamber musician, performing throughout Europe, Asia and America alongside many of the world’s leading musicians. She is also a Professor of Viola at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London.
We are delighted to welcome Milena to Wooburn and look forward to hearing her with the Heath Quartet in what promises to be a particularly memorable evening.
