The Windsor & Maidenhead Symphony Orchestra is a highly regarded amateur orchestra based in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Each year they play three concerts in the prestigious Eton College Hall
Wooburn Singers is an auditioned chamber choir of about 50 singers. They perform four or five concerts per year ranging from a cappella works to large choral pieces with orchestra. The choir goes on tour in Europe every other summer.
Amersham Concert Club has been organising concerts in and around Amersham by outstanding professional musicians for over 50 years. Our concerts are an opportunity to hear current and future stars in an informal atmosphere. Often the musicians talk about the music they are going to play and there can be opportunities to meet and chat with them. Everyone is very welcome, including young people, and you do not have to join the Club to come to a concert. Concerts are held between October and March at Amersham Free Church.
The main aim of Amersham Festival of Music is to promote music-making of the highest professional quality in the local area. Their festival takes place in April and their own Festival Chamber Orchestra puts on an autumn-winter season of concerts.
Maidenhead Music Society furthers the development of music in the Maidenhead area by presenting a series of six professional classical concerts each year at the Norden Farm Centre for the Arts.
Founded in 2017 to bring the highest-quality arts and music to the Chiltern Hills, Chiltern Arts runs an annual week-long festival, now taking place in May and a Festival Weekend in the early Spring.
Jordans Music Club Summer festival aims to promote chamber music of the highest quality in the local area featuring both established international artists and talented young musicians. It has now been running for over 70 years. There are four concerts held in June and July each year on Sunday evenings.
