The Wooburn Festival Visual Arts Exhibition is at the heart of the Wooburn Festival. St. Paul’s Church Hall is converted into a professional and vibrant art gallery showing original paintings, sculpture, ceramics, glass and jewellery from the best artists in the Chilterns and beyond. The 2024 exhibition will take place on Saturday 5th to 12th October.
We are delighted to announce that Andy Lee has agreed to be our featured artist this year.
Andy is a full time ‘plein air’ and studio painter, and a member of the prestigious Wapping Group of Artists. He teaches regular weekly classes in Tring, and a few day and weekend workshops throughout the year. He works mainly in Oil or watercolour and finds all subjects fascinating. He has exhibited with The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour on many occasions and was awarded the James Fletcher Watson RI Award in 2022 for ‘Best use of Watercolour in show’, Winners Exhibition at The Mall Galleries (2022), the Royal Society of Marine Artists, and the Hertford Art Society annual open, winning the Edward Mason Award for Best Watercolour in Show (2018), to name a few.
